01 Ford 7.3 Powerstroke, oil pressure drops to zero at app. 3,000 rpm let off throttle pressure returns?

Have the oil pressure checked with an actual calibrated gauge. But I can tell you from experience, you are going to have a bad high pressure pump. The oil pumps in the Powerstroke engines are known to go out if any contaminates get in them. Always
